Please be aware that I do not offer emergency hours.  If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, dial 911, go to the nearest emergency room at your nearest hospital, or contact the 24 hour crisis clinic at (206) 461-3222.  Also, if you need to speak with someone before I am able to return your call, please call the crisis line.

My confidential office voicemail is (206) 617-9064.  Please leave your name, phone number, best time to reach you and whether or not I can leave a voice mail message.  Calls received on weekends, holidays, or business days after 5pm will generally be returned on the next business day.  Every effort is made to return your call at my earliest possible opportunity.

Email is never to be used in emergency situations and I prefer using email only to arrange appointments.  You may send me an email message at

As email is not secure, please avoid sending sensitive information.  Please do not email me content related to your therapy sessions.  If you choose to communicate with me by email, be aware that all emails are retained in the records of your and my Internet service providers. While it is unlikely that someone will be looking at these logs, they are, in theory, available to be read by the system administrator(s) of the Internet service provider. You should also know that any email I receive from you and any responses that I send to you will be printed out by me and kept in your treatment record.
